“An experiment in how a liberal religious community can be transformed by celebrating a joyful Sabbath together.” – Rev. Ana Levy-Lyons

Last year Rev. Ana Levy-Lyons inspired many of us with her sermon and workshop on the commandment to “keep the Sabbath holy”.  This year we are planning four Community Sabbath Sundays and inviting everyone to try out the concept.  Put away your electronics, your work and your errands for the day and enjoy the abundance of what you already have.  The first Sunday is on October 12th and will include many shared activities, including a meditative walk, a Sabbath Seder, free play for families and children, a bike ride and many more.  The afternoon will close with a shared communion snack and closing worship led by Rev. Ana.  A schedule of Sabbath activities can be found here
