Dominick Corbacio

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Dominick Corbacio, tenor, is currently studying vocal performance at the Manhattan School of Music under the tutelage of Neil Rosenshein.  This coming fall he will perform the role of Ernesto in a new production of Donizetti’s Don Pasquale with Venture Opera Company here in New York.  Originally from Syracuse NY, he has studied both abroad in Italy as well as at The Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY.  He has worked as a soloist in a number of churches in the Upstate NY area, and most recently held the position of Music Director at Divine Mercy Parish in Syracuse.  Dominick is thrilled to be joining the community at First Unitarian Congregational Society here in Brooklyn!

 

Jon Dendy received his B.M. from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, obtaining a degree in Contemporary Music as a bass-baritone. Raised in Sarasota, FL, Jon grew up singing a variety of a-cappella and choral music, and for over a decade apprenticed with the Sarasota Opera company in their Young Artists Program. Dendy has performed with artists such as 11-time Grammy-award-winner Bobby McFerrin, Bilal Oliver, Committed, Kathy Mattea, Patti Austin, Tierney Sutton, and the late James Moody. Dendy lives in NYC and is pursuing his career as a performer and recording artist.
