“Forty years ago, at Midsummer 1972, The Warlock Shop opened for business in Brooklyn Heights. This store was owned by Herman Slater and Eddie Buczynski at 300 Henry Street. In addition to advertising in the Village Voice, they created a lecture series in November of 1972, to help build the Pagan community as well as to draw customers back to their store, which quickly became a vibrant nexus of Pagan activity.”
