Nursery (0-22 months) and Toddlers (1.5 – 3 years)

Age appropriate baby and toddler care is available every Sunday. We provide an active, fun, and creative space for toddlers. The children have opportunities for structured learning through stories and songs, as well as plenty of time for free play.

Pre-Kindergarten (ages 3 and 4) – Chalice Children

Chalice Children experience the principles and values of Unitarian Universalism through imagination and creativity. This class includes stories, crafts, and music and is a wonderful way for young children to get used to being in class on Sunday mornings and helps to prepare them for more formal Religious Education classes which begin in Kindergarten.

Kindergarten / First Grade – Love Surrounds Us

Centered upon the seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism, this program explores the Principle in beloved community.

Second / Third Grade – Moral Tales

Moral Tales provides children with the spiritual and ethical tools they will need to make choices and take actions reflective of their Unitarian Universalist values. Each session has a central story in which participants meet real and fictional heroes and heroines who have displayed moral courage and spiritual greatness.

Fourth / Fifth / Sixth Grade – OWL

Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education (OWL) is a positive, comprehensive, and age-appropriate educational program that promotes sexual health. A parent/caregiver orientation is required for children to participate.

Seventh Grade – Building Bridges

A World Religions Program — Seeking to broaden their knowledge of humanity and embolden their spiritual search, this exploration nurtures participants’ positive outlook toward other faiths and the people who follow them.

Eighth / Ninth Grade – Coming of Age

As youth leave childhood and enter their teen years, we honor this transition with the Coming of Age program. Coming of Age is a yearlong curriculum that helps teens to learn more about Unitarian Universalism and articulate their own beliefs. Participants explore theology, spirituality, and history. Each youth is paired with an adult mentor from the congregation. The program concludes with a Sunday morning worship service that features the youth sharing their statements of personal belief (credo statements).

High School Youth Group (Grades 10, 11, &12)

The High School Youth meet each week after worship to discuss questions of faith, community, belonging, and identity

For the safety of all, we require all children under the age of 18 to be registered. Please register your children here
