Capital Fund & Capital Review Group

The historic First Unitarian buildings enable us to fulfill our mission to support our congregation and the wider community.  Your pledge to Our Capital Fund will ensure that our spaces are beautiful, safe, and in good working order for the next 15 years and beyond.

The Capital Fund was created by consent of the congregation at its 2019 Annual Meeting with an initial sum of $400,000 that was segregated from the general endowment.  A Capital Fund Campaign has been organized with a goal of raising an additional $500,000. The Fund, which is restricted to major capital building projects, is managed by the Capital Review Group (CRG) who will review planned capital projects on an annual basis. Capital projects will be approved by the Board of Trustees and overseen by Building Management with the support of the Facilities Committee. To make a donation or discuss a pledge amount to The Fund, contact Tom Check (checktf@cs.com) or Garnett Losak (garnett@fuub.org).  Pledges can also be made using our on-line here. Or download a printable paper form here.
