All are welcome to join First Unitarian on-line or in person for our annual Juneteenth celebration and potluck lunch (please bring a side dish to share). Rev. Micah C. Ma will lead worthsip with members and friends of the congregation. We will gather in the McKinney Chapel or on YouTube or Zoom (contact info@firstubrooklyn.org for the zoom link). All are Welcome.

Sunday, June 8th, 11:00AM, Flower Communion and Second Sunday Jazz, Rev. Micah C. Ma preaching, "A Communion of Flowers"

Please bring a flower from your garden or a a shop. Our Sunday school children will help to distribute a new flower to all. This is our last Sanctuary service of the program year.
A newcomers orientation will follow the service. All are welcome!

Dress Up for Drag Sunday! We're kicking off Pride Month with Drag Sunday! All are invited to dress up in whatever helps promote a feeling of power and/or authenticity. (Just keep it family friendly...because this is also an all-ages service.) You'll have an opportunity during the service to show off your style!
All are welcome to join us for a drag pancake brunch following the service. Your $20 suggested donation will suppport social justice initiatives at First Unitarian

This week we will welcome guest minister, Rev. Gretchen Haley, senior minister of Foothills Unitarian. Rev. Gretchen will preach, "How We Remember." We begin at 11:00AM. All are welcome!

How we remember—or forget—shapes who we are.
What we retain, what we relinquish—whether with or without intention —becomes the ground of our identity, both personal and collective. In a time when forgetting is everywhere, what does it mean to remember each other, our truth, and our shared humanity? How can memory be a practice that is communal, and spiritual? Join us for a service of sacred memory, a practice of radical resistance and a hope for a God who remembers.

Sunday, May 18th, Rev. Micah C. Ma preaching "Generational Gifts" with music by the First Unitarian Choir led by guest conductor, Sophia Miller. We will bridge our high school seniors this week and offer a special thanks to all the volunteers that make First First Unitarian a loving community.
