Forward First UU hosts Focus Groups on Congregational Purpose Statement

First Unitarian is embarking on a strategic planning initiative this year to envision together the future of our congregation. This process is led by the Forward First UU team which includes Sean Fischer, Meagan Henry, Ana Levy-Lyons, Koren Manning, Rachel Michael, Lee Pardee, Kurt Steele, Coco Wilde, and Nancy Witherell, in collaboration with consultant John Wimberly. Our first step in this process is to create a congregational Purpose Statement. Based on that statement, we will develop goals and strategies that will allow the congregation to fulfill that purpose over the next three-five years.

We want all members of the congregation and the broader First U community to be able to share their feedback on this Purpose Statement before it is adopted; to this end we will be holding focus groups with various subsets of our community over the next month to discuss your vision for our congregation. Please join us at one of the sessions below.
