Children and Youth
We welcome you and your family to our Religious Education program! Our Religious Education Program occurs mainly on Sunday mornings, September through June and is focused on children and youth grades Pre-K through 12th.
The goal of the Religious Education program at First UU is to nurture and support our children and youth as natural spiritual beings on their search and to provide a foundation of religious identity based upon our Unitarian Universalist Principles. Our Fourth Principle teaches us that we are ever on a search for truth and meaning. As a reflection of this principle, we believe in questioning, in exploring, in process, in engaging our many senses, and in learning to put our principles into action.
