Education

It’s time to register your child(ren) for the Fall 2014 term.  Click here to complete and submit the registration form.

We welcome you and your family to our Religious Education program! Classes are held on Sunday mornings from mid-September through June and are available to children and youth grades Pre-K through 12th.  Nursery and toddler care is also available every Sunday.

Meagan Henry, our Director of Education Ministries, is available to meet with families to discuss our RE program and curriculum and UU faith formation and to help you find your way in our congregation.

The goal of the Religious Education program at First U is to nurture and support our children and youth as natural spiritual beings and to provide a foundation of religious identity based upon our Unitarian Universalist Principles. Our Fourth Principle teaches us that we are ever on a search for truth and meaning. As a reflection of this principle, we believe in questioning, in exploring, in process, in engaging our many senses, and in learning to put our principles into action.

Each year, the Religious Education Council sponsors a weekend spring retreat at Murray Grove.  For more information about this event, click here.
