Saturday, January 24th, 2:00-5PM – Forum and Panel Discussion, “FERGUSON: CAUSES, EVENTS, AND WHAT HAPPENS NOW”

Events spurred by the killing of Michael Brown have galvanized the nation and led to massive protests. Join us in the Sanctuary as we examine what happened, why it happened, why masses of people are acting now, and what can we expect in the future. SPEAKERS will include:  Reverend Clinton Miller, (Pastor of Brown Memorial Baptist Church),   Candis Tolliver, Assistant Advocacy Director for Organizing, New York Civil Liberties Union, Anita Neal, whose daughter Kyam Livingston, died in police custody and two activists who were arrested in Ferguson Missouri while protesting the killing of Michael Brown.  A pre-forum discussion will be held at First U on Sunday, January 18th at 1:00PM.
