National General Assembly Delegate
Every year our congregation elects delegates to represent us at one regional and one national UU meeting. These annual gatherings are a chance to share ideas, learns hands-on-skills, meet other UU s, and develop a greater connection to our other terrific delegates and to our broader faith community. Each congregation in the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations (UUA) is allocated one delegate per 50 members. Clergy are also given delegate status. Delegates vote on religious and business issues. The nominating process is needs-blind.
Delegates must be voting members of the First Unitarian Congregational Society in Brooklyn (please note that to maintain your voting membership, a pledge/membership form or a waiver for the current fiscal year must be on file).
