Ready, Set, Go to Unifair! December 7th, 10AM- 4PM
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who worked their fingers to the bone last Sunday afternoon sorting stuff for UniFair. We got a lot done!
But there is still more to be done. So don’t be shy about coming to our final Sunday ”sort” on December 1st following coffee hour or to the ones during set-up week beginning Monday, Dec. 2, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Pizza will be served every night. We need lots of strong, young bodies for setting-up.
You’re also welcome to work at UniFair itself Dec. 7th. You can sign up for the times you prefer on Sign-Up Genius beginning Tues., Nov. 26, or you can email Nancy Welles (chrisnancywelles@verizon.net) A sign-up sheet will also be available next Sunday in the undercroft. If we don’t hear from you, we may just call you up.
We are still accepting donations for Unifair which can be brought to the church any evening the week before the sale.
PLEASE HELP US FILL THE BAKED GOODS TABLE AT UNIFAIR!! Bring homemade donations on Friday evening or on Unifair day to our table in the Undercroft (please no submissions before Friday night to avoid attracting unwanted visitors). Please provide us with an ingredient list so we can answer any questions from our buyers.. We welcome any and all donations – cookies, cupcakes, brownies, breads, pies, cakes, etc etc! Thank you in advance for helping to make our bake table festive and bountiful!!
Please feel free to contact Emily Levine with any questions at EMSL4816@gmail.com
We’re adding some new wrinkles to UniFair this year: the book section will be expanded considerably (and will include CDs, artwork and stationery-type items), a new UU table will be set up in the undercroft so that our visitors can learn a bit about who we are, and the ‘old nursery” on the south end of the undercroft is being turned into a bargain room containing loosely sorted stuff that will be available at low, low prices.
Y”all come!
