Queer Community

Mission Statement

Queer Community @ First U (QC) is an affinity group of LGBTQ+ members and friends at the First Unitarian Congregational Society in Brooklyn.

For its members, QC is dedicated to providing fellowship and fun, support and solidarity, an opportunity to network, and a queer space for intergenerational spiritual exploration.

For the larger congregation, QC would offer educational opportunities on issues that affect the queer community.

And for the world at large, QC would work with the congregation and other groups to fight for issues regarding justice, equality, and inclusivity.

We look forward to coming together as we build strength through solidarity.
