Family Friendly Soulful Sundown Celebrates the Hindu Festival of Diwali Nov. 21st at 7PM

by DoMC

Diwali is a festival of light that celebrates the triumph of good over evil and ultimately, awareness of the inner light that we all possess and celebrated with lantern-lighting, sharing sweets, and general revelry.  Julie Bero will lead this service in the chapel, which will have spirit, light, crafts and sweets.  Doesn’t that sound like a good way to spend a Thursday evening? All are welcome.

Soulful  Sundown is a participatory and inter-generational service led by members  of our community. It is a  wonderful opportunity to  celebrate the diversity of style and belief we hold as Unitarian  Universalists and to learn from each other. They occur every third Thursday of the month.
If you would like to lead a Soulful Sundown, the Worship & Music Committee will be happy to help you and answer any  questions you may have. For more information, please speak to Worship and Music Committee members Bob Bero (robert.bero@gmail.com) or Jacque Schultz
