Youth Social Justice Program 2011-2012

2011 October 19
by First U Bklyn

The Youth Social Justice Program creates opportunities for community service and social action, teaches about community organizations in Brooklyn, and deepens Unitarian Universalist identity. The program engages the congregation’s senior high (9th-12th grade) youth in partnering with community organizations to put their faith into action. The main components of the program are monthly service projects and group reflection on the connections between Unitarian Universalism and social justice.
