New Theater Exploration – Sunday, February 2nd, 2:00PM

The Mother Theater Project of First Unitarian is launching an exciting Spring project, an improvisational investigation of Mind / Heart connection in our current culture.  We’ll look at the separation of the Mind and the Heart through, personal stories, current cultural trends, pharmaceutical paradigms, alternative medicine and meditative practice. This work grows out of an exploration of the Feminine / Masculine balance and how that translates into the Mind / Heart split. Through theater improvisation, drama therapy techniques, movement and vocal work we will create a safe space for reflection, community building and shared investigation. A congregational presentation is planned for late May.

All are invited to join us, no prior theater experience is required.  Our group will meet weekly through the winter and into the spring.  Please come join us in the Chapel for this engaging communion of exploration.
