Intimate relations test our patience, our maturity, and our capacity for compassion like nothing else. Often we bring our worst selves to the people we care about most, when we should be bringing our best. Relationship As Spiritual Practice will offer the opportunity to view intimate relationships in a new light. This two-hour seminar will dive deeply into practical skills that you can use immediately to bring more joy and harmony into your closest relationship.

 We will explore:

 • How to listen deeply to your partner in a way that opens both your hearts

 • How to model “caring candor” to build a more trusting bond and promote a sense of being truly “known”

 • How to be fully present and undefended in the midst of conflict (and how those conflicts can bring you closer together)

Plan to attend with your partner if possible. You can define “partner”broadly to include a best friend, sibling, parent, child, or business partner.
