Sunday Meditation Circle

The Sunday Meditation Circle puts into action the first purpose in our mission statement: to “inspire and empower people to grow spiritually.”

Anyone interested in surrendering to a time of silence is welcome to attend on Sunday mornings at 10 am. The session begins with brief opening words and a chalice lighting. We sit in silence for 30 minutes, then have a short time for sharing individual reflections. No experience or particular style of meditation is required; we provide brief mindfulness instruction, but all are welcome to engage in silence in whatever way they prefer.

We meet in the Green Room, with about 8-12 sitting on any given Sunday. No sign ups or commitments needed. Participants may choose to come once, occasionally, or every week, it’s up to you. Everyone is welcome!  For more information (garnett@fuub.org).

To access the Green Room: Enter through the 50 Monroe Place door.  Walk to the end of the hall and up the stairs to the right.  Signs will be posted.
