Our congregation is fully self-supporting, relying on gifts from members and friends for nearly half of its budget. These gifts support our mission to support each other’s search for truth and meaning and our work for justice throughout our communities.
A financial pledge is a promise to make a future donation. We ask for pledges in the late winter or early spring for the following fiscal year which begins on July 1st. Knowing how much we can expect in donations is critical for creating a responsible budget that reflects the values of our congregation.
Our bylaws require that all voting members of the congregation complete a pledge form and make an annual payment on that pledge. In the late winter or early spring, we ask our members and pledging friends to make a financial commitment to the congregation for the fiscal year that begins on July 1st of the following year; however, pledge forms are accepted year-round.
The theme for the fiscal year 2026-27 Campaign is “Lighting Our Fire”. We light our fire. We fuel the warmth of our community and of our beloved building. We spark the match of music, worship, and creativity amongst our sacred society. We fan the flames of raging love in the face of global oppression and injustice. We are lighting our fire.
